Data deletion
Your right to control your data is fundamental. Here we explain how you can request the deletion of your personal information from our systems.
Your right to deletion
We recognize and respect your right to request the deletion of your personal data from our systems. This right, also known as the 'right to be forgotten', lets you ask us to erase the information we hold about you when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.
You can exercise this right at any time, subject to the legal and contractual exceptions described in this policy. You do not need to justify your request, although a brief description will help us process it more precisely.
This right complements the other rights you have over your personal data, including access, rectification, portability and objection to processing, all described in our Privacy Policy.
What data we can delete
We can delete the data you gave us directly: name, email address, phone number, company information and any other personal data shared through our contact forms or communications.
We also delete records of interactions, email or messaging conversation history, and any file or document you shared with us to provide the services, once the contractual relationship has ended.
Anonymous and aggregated analytics data (which does not allow you to be identified individually) may not be deletable, as it is not personal data under the applicable legal definition.
How to request deletion
To request the deletion of your data, send an email to [email protected] with the subject 'Data Deletion Request'.
In your message, include your full name, the email address you registered or contacted us with, and a description of the data you want us to delete (you can write 'all my personal data' if you prefer).
To verify your identity and protect the security of your data, we may ask you for additional information before processing the deletion. This step is necessary to make sure no third party can delete your data without your consent.
Process and timing
We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days. From that confirmation, we will process the deletion within 30 business days at most.
Once the deletion is complete, we will send you a written confirmation stating which data was deleted and from which systems.
If some data cannot be deleted for legal or technical reasons, we will tell you, with a clear explanation of the reasons and the estimated time for its deletion when possible.
Please note that backup copies may take additional time to be purged naturally. During that period, the data will not be actively used.
Exceptions to deletion
There are cases in which we cannot delete all your data immediately or completely. This includes when keeping it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (for example, tax or accounting records that the law requires us to keep for a set period).
We also cannot delete data while there is an active contractual relationship, an outstanding debt or any other unresolved obligation between the parties.
If we have started legal proceedings or received a claim involving your information, the data related to that claim will be kept until it is resolved.
In every case of exception, we will tell you clearly which data we cannot delete, the legal or contractual reason that justifies it, and the estimated time when it can be deleted.
